Your Story, Your Ideas
If your story was told to the world, via the media or some other means, would it assist in persuading decision-makers about the need for improvements to services and support for families of children and young adults with a disability?
If so, and if you are prepared to consider telling your story in public, go this link or contact the Community Education Co-ordinator, Helen Johnson by email: helenj@aafcd.org.au
In our experience, it is often the personal stories of individuals and families that inspires decision-makers to make positive policy changes. We'd like to encourage you to consider telling your story in public. Every story adds strength to our national advocacy voice.
