Resources, information, educational toys and literature that may be difficult to access through mainstream services.


NSW CID Resource Library and Information Line
The NSW Council for Intellectual Disability operates an extensive resource library with information on intellectual disability, and welcomes enquiries from individuals, families, carers and organisations.

Penrith Toy Libray
Provides a home visiting service for families with a disabled child and a special needs session at Emu plains library (Wednesday 2.00 – 5.00) for parents who prefer to choose from the general and special needs collections. The Penrith Community Toy Library has toys and games for the under 8’s, electronic toys and switches, early literacy / communication support materials and a couple of larger items for balance.
