SELF CARE

There are many resources, tips and suggestions available from carer organisations and on carer websites that emphasise the importance of self care for carers. Services including a range of free counselling services and carer groups are also available to support carers’ health and well being.

While it may not be easy for you to ask for help and even think about seeking counselling there may be times when talking to a professional can really make a difference. Connecting to other carers can also provide valuable support, useful tips and reminders to take care of you.

On this page you will find links to helpful websites and resources to encourage and assist self care.

If it is difficult to find a service or resource that suits you, please call Blueprint on (02) 4784 2323.
